Advanced Cinema 4D looping techniques are hard to come by, which is why this tutorial series is so special. Our main feature will showcase Shapiro500's breakdown of "Sohcahtoa"  a short film he created that was part of a Siggraph, a major Maxon event. Below, you will find a specific series he created on looping animation techniques. When done right, these techniques can create amazing, mesmerizing visuals that can really capture the eye. He has also provided free 3D assets you can download below. Be sure to support shapiro500 for creating such amazing free content! You can follow shapiro500 on Instagram here.

From the instructor:

Here's a breakdown of the "Sohcahtoa" piece I made in Cinema4D. You'll learn how to set up instances in a way that makes a fractal animation like this relatively easy to work with. This is part of my presentation "Cinema 4D as a Tool to Create Happiness Through Mathematics and Dancing Flamingos" presented at the Maxon 3D Motion Show for Siggraph 2020 on July 23rd, 2020.

From the instructor:

In this tutorial, you'll learn how to make a perfect seamless loop where your camera rotates around a looping scene... FOREVER. This tutorial takes place in C4D, but you could definitely apply these techniques to any 3D package like Blender, Maya, or Ray Dream Studio. If you haven't seen part 1 already, I recommend checking it out for some looping techniques and advice that will help you improve any kind of loop that you make. Part 1 also has breakdowns for some of the animations I mention towards the end of this video, as well as some assets that you can download for free:

Part 3)

From the instructor:

In the final chapter of this looping tutorial series, you will learn how to make trippy, infinitely zooming loops in C4D. I'm sure you could take these principles and apply them to other 3D packages as well, like Maya, Blender, or Bryce 4. If you haven't seen other tutorials in this series, I at least recommend checking out part 1 for some general information and advice on creating seamless looping videos.
